The Brotherhood Choir will have rehearsal every Wednesday in the Month of March. The time is 6:45 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.

The Missionary and Christian Worker’s service at 8:00 p.m. Come out and enjoy the Lord with us.

Saturday, May 25th

The Ministerial Congress class from 9:00 to 12:00 noon. We will be discussing "Dismantling the Stigma of AIDS/HIV", and Close to Home (demographics and statistics in the DMV area) which will be presented to us by Dr. Trelis Jones. You don’t want to miss this session. Come and be empowered to minister to our families, communities, and the Kingdom of God.

There will be a WOW Session at 7:00 p.m. the topic “Characteristics of Women in the Bible – What does my character say about me” sponsored by the Ministers and Deacons Wives.

Community Day/Church Picnic 10:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.  All Tribe leaders please see Minister Joseph Hill with your monetary donations.  We need your full participation and support.  If you are not in a tribe and would like to participate please see Deacon Victor Sharps, Minister Joseph Hill or Sis. The GMSAM Nurses Guild will celebrate their 33rd Anniversary at 5:00 p.m. 

Bishop C. E. Johnson and First Lady Sheila Johnson cordially invites all Greater Morning Star Children ages 5 to 12 to join him on Saturday, June 22, 2013 at Celebrate the Children gathering from 11:00am to 1:00pm.  Deadline for signing up is Sunday, June 2nd.

The Sunday school Department will be hosting a celebration at 1:00 p.m. for the 2013 graduating seniors.  Please join us for this special occasion to support the seniors.  The location will be announced later.

"Registration for Teen and Youth Retreat 2013 is now open. The retreat will be held July 5th - July 7th.  This year's theme: Break Every Chain.  The total cost is $90.

Please turn in your nonrefundable $20 deposit to YPA treasurers Bro. Dudley Green and Bro. Trovon Williams as soon as possible. Counselors and campers registration forms are available in the front lobby."

It's that time of year again for the Young Peoples Auxiliary's Spotlight Youth Award. Submit your one page nominations highlighting your youth's
educational, extracurricular, spiritual and natural accomplishments. Eligible candidates must be saved members of Morning Star between the ages of 10 and 18.  Please submit your entries to Sis. Erica Daye or Sis. Rachel Williamsno later than Sunday, April 28."
